Let's learn about setting up automated call routing in the Holiday Calendar.

Adding a Holiday Calendar
1. Go to Configuration > Calls > Holiday Calendar.
2. Click Add Holiday.
This opens the Add a Preset Holidays selection window.
3. Select the Location. Choose one or more locations where the holiday rule should apply.
4. Choose a Preset Holiday.
5. Click Add Holiday to add your preset holiday.
| Note: If your business has multiple offices, each location can have its own holiday settings. |
6. Fill in the following details
- Location
- Numbers
- Name - This will be auto-displayed based on the preset Holiday you choose.
- Duration
- Closed Hours
- Phone tree
| Tip: Select an offline phone tree to avoid affecting the answering rate and missed call response. |
7. Click Save to add your preset holiday calendar.
Add Your Own Custom Holiday
1. Go to Add Holiday > Add your own custom holiday.
2. In the Setup Custom Holidays screen, specify the following:
- Location* - Choose one or more business locations where the holiday settings will apply. Required for regional routing. This is mandatory information.
- Numbers: Choose the specific phone numbers that should follow this holiday schedule. Only the selected numbers will be affected—the rest of the location’s numbers will continue using their normal routing.
- Name* - Give the holiday a clear, descriptive name (e.g., "Christmas Eve", "Diwali Break"). Required for easy identification. This is mandatory information.

Duration:
- Single Day – For one-day holidays.
- Multiple Days – For holidays spanning more than one day.
- Closed Hours - You can choose Closed All Day or Set Closed Hours.
For Single-day holidays, you have two options:
- Closed All Day
- Set Closed Hours

For a closed all-day holiday,
Specify the following:
- Start Date: The start date of the holiday

Repeat: Choose the recurrence pattern for the holiday:
->Never – a one-time event
->Weekly, Monthly, or Yearly – for recurring holidays.
Monthly Repeat Configuration
In case you want to repeat the holiday Monthly, configure the following:
Repeat Frequency:
Choose the number of months the holiday should repeat (for example, every 1 month, every 2 months).
Repeat On:
Select how the holiday should repeat:
Monthly on this day – repeats on the same date each month.
Monthly on this weekday – repeats on a specific weekday pattern (for example, the fifth Thursday of the month).
For a Set Closed Hours holiday,
Specify the following:
- Start Date: The start date of the holiday.

Time Slot: The duration of the break hours.

to add more time slots to the selected day.
-> Specify the starting and closing times in the Time Slot.
For multiple-day holidays, you have two options:
- Closed All Day: Specify the Date Range applicable for the holiday.
2. Set Closed Hours: Specify the Date Range applicable for the holiday.
| Note: You can only mention continuous date range. |
- Choose the Phone Tree, which is mandatory to be used during the holiday.

3. After specifying all the other details, click Save.
Your new holiday now appears in the summary view.
Edit a Holiday
1. Go to Configuration > Holiday Calendar > Edit.
2. Make the required edits and click Save after making the necessary changes.
Delete a Holiday Calendar
1. Navigate to Configuration > Holiday Calendar > Delete.
2. Click the Delete option in the dialog box to confirm and delete your Holiday Calendar.
